صدر أخيراً عن منظمة الشفافية العالمية مؤشر الفسادوالذي يقيس الفساد في القطاع الحكومي في 159 دولة .

جاء في رأس الدول الأقل فساداً أيسلندا في المركز 1
وفنلندا في المركز 2
وفي ذيل القائمة تشاد وبنجلاديش معاً في المركز 158

أما بالنسبة لدول الخليج فجاء ترتيبها كالتالي ( حسب الأقل فساداً )

1- عمان الأولى خليجياً وعربياً في المركز 28 مناصفة مع إسرائيل
2- تليهما مباشرة الإمارات الثانية خليجياً وعربياً في المركز 303-
قطر الثالثة خليجياً وعربياً في المركز 324-
البحرين الرابعة خليجياً وعربياً في المركز 365-
الكويت الخامسة خليجياً في المركز 456-
